Federal allows 12 weeks during any 12 month period as long as
the employee has been employed during the previous 12
months and worked at least 1,250 hours during that 12 month
period.
New Jersey allows 12 weeks in any 24 month period. The employee
must have been employed during the previous 12 months and only
needs to have worked 100 hours within those 12 months.
